With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan E. Taranta of Highland, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Pampinella and Frances Cestar Pampinella; her husband Louis B. Taranta; her daughter Janet Corcoran; and her siblings, Gloria Sciortino and Joseph Pampinella.
She is survived by: her son Steven Taranta of Jenkinsburg Ga; her son-in-law Phil Corcoran; and her grandchildren, James (Krista) and Stacy (Rob Cohen).
