He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Sr. Sobkowski and Jennie Sobkowski (Wozniak); his wife Patricia Malnoski Sobkowski; his brother Robert Sobkowski; his children, Dr. Shawn Sobkowski of Highland Park, NJ, Jeffry Sobkowski of Elmira, Lisa Lechliter (Charlie) of Elmira and Amy Bellinger of Horseheads; his grandsons, Brian, Michael Lechliter, Zachary Bellinger and Dylan Bellinger (Gabriella Yarussi); and his siblings-in-law, Gerald "Buddy" Malanoski (Charlotte) of Elmira and Sylvia Travis of Horseheads. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
