It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Maroldt Welch of Highland, New York, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Maroldt and Louise Ose Maroldt; and her husband Hugh P. Welch. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Nord (Wayne) of West Hurley, Eileen Morgan (Brian) of Hyde Park, Thomas Welch (Suzanne) of New Paltz and Timothy Welch (Maureen) of Highland; her grandchildren, Amanda Calabrese (David) of Germantown, Katelyn Welch of New Paltz, Robert Morgan (Amanda) of Cheshire and Kyle Welch of Highland; her great grandchildren, Madison Grace Morgan of Cheshire and Edward Isaac Calabrese of Germantown, Maryland.; her siblings, Peter Maroldt, Jr. of Highland, Gertrude Domanic of Cary and Theresa Simpson of Poughkeepsie; and her sister-in-law Suzanne Polacco of Kingston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the St Augustine's Church in Highland and the Alzheimers Association.
