Walter C. Stanfield Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2022, at the age of 94, Walter C. Stanfield (Highland Mills, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jerome C. Stanfield; his wife Janice Stanfield (Payne); his brothers, Noel Stanfield and Roderick Stanfield; and his brother-in-law Kjell Sjuve.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie S. Wagner (Mark) of Manassas, VA, Walter P. Stanfield and Stephen J. Stanfield (Deirdre O'Keefe) of Highland Mills; his granddaughters, Tara Wagner (Chris Taylor) of Charlottesville, VA and Alison Edenton (David) of Bristow, VA; his son Matthew Wagner of Gainesville, VA; his great grandchild Elisabeth Edenton; his sister Norma Sjuve of Lacona, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Stanfield, Cora Mae Stanfield and Ruth Thompson (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
