She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest C. Smith and Dorothy Randel Smith; her husband Eugene P. "Gene" Gross; her daughter Patti Serrecchio; and her brother Ernest C. Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Boice (Dan) of High Falls and Lee Potter Paashaus (Dan) of Cottekill; her son-in-law Joseph Serrecchio of New Paltz; her grandsons, Andrew Potter of Astoria and Samuel Serrecchio of New Paltz; and her niece Cheryl Black of Section, Alabama..
