We bid farewell to Helen A. Kurczewski (Hicksville, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 15, 2025 at the age of 103. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blackman and Helen Blackman; her husband John G. Kurczewski; and her siblings, Arline Ibert (Joseph) and William Blackham Jr. (Eileen).
She is survived by: her children, Jane McCormack (Jack), Karen Kurczewski, John Kurczewski, Jr. (Shirley) and Douglas Kurczewski; her grandchildren, Kristen Lenart (Matt) and Ken McCormack (Tammie); her great grandchildren, Trevor, Braydon, Colton and Kellen; and her sister Irma Earley (Robert).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes (125 W Old Country Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Parish (17 Fordham Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Helen's heart.
