It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine E. Thorsten (Hicksville, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy (Tressie Thorsten) and Geraldine. She is survived by: her children, Julia Mamun (Abdullah), Elizabeth Lofton (Jonathan) and James Thorsten (Sharoly); her grandchildren, Athena Lubbers (Kevin), Zena Mamun, Joshua Lofton, Shari, Jamie and Lucas Thorsten; her great grandchild Felix Lubbers; her siblings, Kenroy Thorsten, Robert Williams and Lily Williams Otto; and her daughter Spiderman. She is also survived by loving nieces and a great-nephew and a great- niece.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes (125 W Old Country Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the Alzheimer's Foundation, or the American Heart Association.
