He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Moffatt and Lula Miller Moffatt; and his siblings, Erney, Clarence B. Moffatt, Pattigene Moffatt and Betty Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Thompson; his children, David Moffatt of Herkimer, Daniel Moffatt (Melissa Jacquays) of Mohawk, Karen Lopez of Richfield Springs and Laura Moore (Jeremy) of Mohawk; his sisters, Violet L. Jeck of Herkimer and Nellie L. Pratt of Frankfort; and his niece Debbie Stevens. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, many nieces.
