With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tom Marchese of Herkimer, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his son Joseph; his siblings, Alfonso, Pietrina (Giuseppe LoRe) and Josephine (John LaSorsa); and his siblings-in-law, Rose Biasini, Francis Dunning, Glenn Lawrence and Bernie White.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Cushman; his daughters, Anne (Frank Mirabile), Rosemarie Reid and Tammy Marchese; his children-in-law, Ralph Reid and Teresa Marchese; his grandchildren, Thomas Reid (Jennifer), James Reid, Andrew Reid, Sarah Raj (Bryan), Nicole Marchese, Thomas Marchese (Jamie), Joseph Marchese, David Marchese, Vincent Iocovozzi (Gianna) and Matthew Iocovozzi; his great grandchild Hunter; his grandchildren, Daphne, Atlas, Kaiden, Jace, Parker, Braylee, Oliver, Ezra and Mila Rose; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Biasini, Angela Dunning, Patricia Lawrence, Marion White, Anne Schell (Fred) and JoAnne Burrill (Al). He is also survived by many godchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home (100 Otsego St, Ilion, NY 13357). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church (412 S Frankfort St, Frankfort, NY 13340).
Yet, even as Alzheimer's took hold, his special bond with his granddaughter Ariana remained unbreakable.
