It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa Bongiorno of Herkimer, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Bongiorno and Mary Sylvester Bongiorno; her siblings, Dominick Bongiorno, George Bongiorno, Phillip Bongiorno, Anthony Bongiorno, Marie Clements, Agnes Salvaggio, Frances Bongiorno and Rose Bongiorno; her niece Mary Bongiorno; and her nephew Nicholas Bongiorno.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mary Bongiorno of Frankfort. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc. (203 Second Ave, Frankfort, NY 13340). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.
