He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Karpiak and Mary Karpiak (Widanka). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Brandow; his children, Deborah Weston of Ilion, Elizabeth Graml of Ilion, Nancy, Kyle McNiel of Sylvan Beach and Richard Roberts (Luanne) of Little Falls; his brother Gary Karpiak (Robin) of Middleville; his grandchildren, Shannon (Clancy Connors), Jacob Weston (Kendall Grosse), Travis (Maria McNiel), Dereck (Kayla McNiel), Evan (Janelli Roberts) and Haley Roberts of Albuquerque, NM.; and his friends, Frank Dubeck, Bruce Wilbur, Mindy, Schoonmaker and Ted.
