He was predeceased by: his father Pietro Averson; his wife Celia; and his siblings, Elizabeth Barrett, Adeline Polizzi, Margaret Padula, Doris Dangler, Yolanda Yacovelle, Theodore Averson, Francis Averson, Thomas Averson and Louis Averson.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Caiola of Frankfort; and his sister-in-law Mary Sportello of Frankfort. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
