He was predeceased by: his wife Kay. He is survived by: his children, Luanne Murphy (Richard), Ralph J. Blasting, Jr. (Laurie), James Blasting (Susan), Jeffrey Helmer (Carin), Anthony Blasting (Teresa), Tami Callister (James), Matthew Blasting, Scott Blasting (Pam), Maria Blasting and Anne Butler (John); and his brother Antonio Placanica. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
