With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penny A. Van Buren (Herkimer, New York), who passed away on January 21, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney LaFountain and Shirley LaFountain (Barringer); her brother-in-law Mark; and her nephew Jayden LaFountain. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Tammy Facemire (John), David Van Buren (Rachael) and Mike Van Buren (Becky); her mother-in-law Doris Strafel; and her siblings, Pam Preston (Mark), Carol Moore (Tim), Kathy Barrett (Dale), Susan Burdick (Berri Shirley) and Steven LaFountain (Kari James). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
