She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Maida and Catherine Maida (Zazzarino); and her brother Gregory Maida. She is survived by: her children, Joanne Zorn (Rainer) of Mohawk, NY, Kathy VanVolkenburg (Dave) of Herkimer, NY and Anthony "Tony" Fusco (Heather) of Marriottsville, MD; her grandchildren, Christian Zorn (Leah), Erika Bucenec, Leigh VanVolkenburg (Richelle), Jason Fusco, Brian Fusco and Kristina Fusco; her great grandchildren, Jase, Pete Bucenec, Elise, Christian Jr., Ensley and Ohlen VanVolkenburg; her siblings, Louis Maida (Bella), Nick Maida (Rosemary) and Patricia Paratore (Carl); and her in-laws, Connie Maida, Claudine Grande and Clark Workman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Josephine's name will be donated to stroke research.
