He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph, Sr. Mlekoday and Frances Mlekoday (Witkowski); his aunts, Clara Sarafin and Staffie Grescek (Stan); and his sister-in-law Teresa McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Zaleski; his daughters, Helen and Marianne; and his siblings-in-law, Albin (Luann Zaleski), Alex, Vicky Zaleski, Mary Ann, Matt Dubai, Agnes and Nelson Crouse. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
