We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2020, at the age of 86, John T. Pendergast of Herkimer, New York, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pendergast and Clotilde Pendergast (Manning); and his siblings, Mary, Kevin, Michael and Russell Pendergast.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia M. Notare of Fairfield; his children, Maria Mullin (Arthur) of Wynantskill, John J. Pendergast of Herkimer, Joseph V. Pendergast of Troy, Lawrence Pendergast (Giovanna) of Poughquag, Tom Pendergast, Jr. of Hampden, ME, Kevin Pendergast (April) of Amenia and Matthew Pendergast (Caroline) of Silver Spring, MD; and his sister Carroll Stein (William) of New City. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
