He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ruff and Jean Ruff (Coon); and his close friend James Hagen. He is survived by: his sisters, Candice Ruff of Marcy, Michelle Ruff of Ilion and Denise Grzella of Marcy; his great-nephews, Shane and Jeremiah; his uncles, William Tiel and Gerald Coon, Sr.; and his aunt Christine Coon.
