It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George T. Jones Jr. of Herkimer, New York, born in Ilion, New York, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Jones, and Flora Jones, Sr. (Durse); his daughter Bobbi Jo Jones; and his siblings, Noreen Jones, Morgan and Brian Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jones (Ward) of Herkimer; his daughters, Simone Jones of East Herkimer, Bridget Crossett (Kris) of East Herkimer and Cindy Hailston (Craig) of Mohawk; his grandsons, Christopher Carney and Tyler Hailston; his great grandchild Adrianna Carney; and his sister-in-law Winnie Jones of Oneida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
