He was predeceased by: his parents, Duard T. Henderson and Lura Folts Henderson; his wife Gertrude Ritcher; his grandson Benjamin Mergenthaler; and his sisters, Sally Cimino and Fay McDermott.
He is survived by: his children, Dewey Henderson (Cassandra) of South Carolina and Gale Mergenthaler of Frankfort. He is also survived by six grandchildren including, fourteen great grandchildren, three great greatgrandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
