With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald F. Obreza of Herkimer, New York, born in Little Falls, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Obreza and Amelia "Molly" Logar; his stepmother Antonija Obreza (Skerl); his brother Richard Anthony Obreza; his brother-in-law Albert Patterson; his parents-in-law, Marguerite Barres (Cipierre) and Felix Barres; his siblings-in-law, Andree Amouroux (Barres), Chantal Leclerc (Barres) and Jean-Pierre Leclerc; and his nephew Stephane Bougras.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jim; his wife Marie-Odile Obreza (Barres); his daughters, Catherine Fetterman (Michael) and Valerie Aldi (Dean); his grandchildren, Joshua Obreza (Kristen), Sarah Dawley (Wells) and Nicole Fetterman; his sisters, Sandra Patterson (Obreza) and Maureen Bonnell (James); his siblings-in-law, Judith Obreza (Stoudt), Evelyne Lecaillon (Barres), Philippe Lecaillon, Dominique Barres, Alain Barres and Jean Barres (Regine); his nieces and nephews, Angela Schaffer (Randy), Matthew Obreza (Kimberly), Marjorie Chetney (Matthew), Jennifer Bonnell, Molly Bonnell (Bradford Roberts), Bruno Amouroux, Willy Baramble (Emilie), Melanie Barres, Ursula Billaut (Thierry), Renaud Lecaillon, Frederic Barres, Boris Leclerc, Marion Leclerc, Kathy Leclerc, Carole Barres, Sarah Barres, Sebastien Bougras (Carine), Julie Bougras Leroy (Alexis), AnneLise Barres and Yohann Barres; and his cousin Janet Atutis (Peter).
