He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Emrich and Margaret Emrich (Sitek); his wife Betty; and his siblings, Norm, Eugene, James Emrich, Marie Murphy, Dorothy Goodwin, Virginia Smithson and Irene MacDougal.
He is survived by: his children, Laure (Richard Sacco), Donna (Marc Snead) and Norman Emrich (Jessica) of Whitesboro; and his grandchildren, Pamela LaPolla (Shaun), Patrick Sacco (Victoria), Luke Emrich (Oliva) and Karlie Schreppel (Nicolaus). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
