It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Wilber of Herkimer, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Wilber and Henrietta Visser Wilber (Yetti); his wife Margaret Briggs; his brother Harry Wilber; and his sons-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Sangster and Dale Pacillo.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Sangster of Herkimer, Carolyn Youngblut (Bill) of Herkimer and Dianne Pacillo of Auburn; his siblings-in-law, Marvin "Sonny" Briggs and Joanne Wilber; and his grandchildren, Leslie Nevils, Chad Sangster (Dawn) of Herkimer, Andrew Joyce (Patty) of Camden, Marissa Joyce of Auburn, Michayla Granbois (Alex) of Herkimer, Jennifer Weisser (John Minguela) of Herkimer, Kari (Michael) of Dolgeville, Thomas Malaglowicz (Patricia) of Washington and Amy Phelps (John) of Virginia. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 127 North Prospect Street, Herkimer, NY 13350.
