She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Charles Folts and Elsie Lee Folts; her husband Peter F. Weiss Jr.; her daughter-in-law Mary Kohler Weiss; her sister Cora Folts Smith (Edwin Smith); and her in-laws, Shirley, Frank Guido, Jessie, Carl Neale and Anne Mayne Weiss.
She is survived by: her children, George Weiss (Janet), John Weiss (Sonja Cursh), David (Lori Weiss), Teresa (Dan Sullivan) and Priscilla (David Edick). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory with donations to the Cedarville Fire Department or the National Down Syndrome Society (ndss.org).
