He was predeceased by: his sons, Stephen Fosella and Brad Riesel; his grandchildren, Rebecca King, Ian Wellington and Zoie Riesel; and his siblings, Vito Fosella, Marian D'Ambrosio and Frances Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda S. Fosella; his children, Richard Fosella of New Rochelle, Donald Fosella (Carmelina) of New Rochelle, Estelle Fosella Smith (Gary) of Ilion and Chad Riesel (Stacy Woods) of Herkimer; his sister Clementine Amodio of Carmel; and his daughter-in-law Judy Fosella. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
