He was predeceased by: his son Michael P. Sloan; and his brothers, James L. Sloan, Jr. and Edward Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Jean Sloan; his son Patrick W. Sloan; and his daughter-in-law Kristine Tenebruso. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Marianne Cope Parish.
