In the sacred silence of farewell, Norman is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Norman's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marian Schmidt; and his son Steven Schmidt. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Smith, Roy Schmidt (Donna) and Daniel Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Douglas Corbin (Barbara). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the James R. Gray Funeral Home (1530 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, NY 14624).
