He was predeceased by: his parents, Lodivico Gangi and Jessie Gangi; his wife Grace (Imbastaro); and his siblings, Phil, Lou, Sam, Frank, Joe, Angelina LaDelfa, Josephine Pilato and Rose Zazzara.

He is survived by: his sister Yolanda Arcarisi; his daughters, Sharon Clark (Bernie) and Phyllis Swift (John); his grandson Timothy John Swift; and his caregiver Peggy Hart.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Ann's Home (1500 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14621). An entombment was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
