We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 77, Donald R. Saunders of Henrietta, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Saunders and Betty Saunders; his brother Charles Saunders; his nephew Patrick Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Miller, John Majcher and Kristie Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Saunders; his children, Stephanie Greene (Andrew) and Richard Saunders (Krystle); his granddaughter Aliya Saunders; his siblings-in-law, John Miller (Andrew Cooke), Michael Miller, Mary Ann Putnam (William), Donna Miller, Jo Ann Saunders and Terri Majcher; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Miller (Christina), Nicole Miller, Brad Saunders (Kim), Cindy Saunders, Christopher Majcher (Adrianne), Aaron Majcher, Monica Majcher, Brian Putnam (Jaime), Matthew Putnam and Megan Putnam.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home (1717 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14617). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Church (2061 E Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14623).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care 2652 Ridgeway Ave. Rochester, NY 14626.
