He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jacobs and Elnora Jacobs (Barrett); his son David Joseph Jacobs; his brother William Jacobs (Ann); his nephews, William "Billy" Jacobs and Kevin Jacobs; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Irma Colamarino; his brother-in-law Guido Colamarino; and his extended family, Michael Ciancaglini, James Ciancaglini, MaryKay Dwyer and JoAnn McMahon (Shane).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Jacobs (Colamarino); his daughter Linda DeCocq (Michael) of Pittsford, NY; his grandson David DeCocq of Gates, NY; his niece Kristen Karl (Bryan); his nephew Brian Jacobs; his niece-in-law Beth Ann Jacobs; and his great-nieces, Brianna Shafer (Mike) and Vanessa Jacobs.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the church.
