She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Growe and Wilma Growe; her siblings, James, Rudy and Christine Growe; her stepdaughter Meghan Elizabeth McGivney; and her parents-in-law, Suzanne and Robert McGivney.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Bruce McGivney; her children, Michael Christopher McGivney and Erin Alicia McGivney-Looper; her son-in-law Bryant Looper; her granddaughters, Reese Marin Looper and Sloane Rachel Looper; her brother Ivan Growe; and her brother-in-law John McGivney. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
