He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kohl and Hilda Kohl of Henderson; his wife Ardis Eileen Matthews; his daughter Eileen; and his sister Suzanne.
He is survived by: his sons, William (Kim), Charles Kohl and Dennis Kohl (Sally); and his brother David Kohl (Kendra) of Blacksburg, VA.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
