With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Margaret (Whitney) Horton of Henderson, New York, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Whitney and Lena Macklin; her siblings, Grace Rathburn, Mac, John, Don and Alvin; and her former husband Pete Horton.
She is survived by: her children, Maurice "Duke" and Melissa Horton of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Eric (Emily), Maria and Jake (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Addie, Olivia, Macy, Grace, Sandra and Steve Hovland of Maricopa; her granddaughter Lena (Josh); her great grandchildren, Joseph and May; her grandchild Jessie; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Coby; her grandchild Lauren; her sister Alice Taylor; and her siblings-in-law, Tish Gregory, Ann Lyons and Harold Horton.
Contributions in her memory can be made to Henderson's Ambulance squad, Henderson's Historical Society, Henderson's Library or Henderson's Methodist Church.
