He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ayles and Gladys Newton Ayles; his wife Audrey Smith; his sisters, Audrey Montaque and Marjorie VanYoorhis; and his grandsons, Christopher Boynton and Jason Barry.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Ayles (Debbie Reynolds), Valerie Boynton (James Westervelt) and Darcey (Ronald Fargo); his grandchildren, Rachel Johnson, Travis Ayles, Brady Boynton, Andrew Fargo, David Fargo and Jennifer Wadsworth; and his pet Fang. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many longtime friends.
