We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Maria Christina Poons of Hempstead, New York, born in Mexico, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ronald; her daughters, Deborah (Jason Dolby), Christine (Thomas Travaglini) and Cathlene (Brad Behar); her grandchildren, Nicole, Lisa, Alexander, Laurie, Sydney, Jessica, Brandon, Jaime and Jordyn; and her sister Rosa Maria "Tita" Zamudio of Ainslie. She was also cherished by mother to her daughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org.
