He was predeceased by: his parents, William Polis and Catherine Polis; and his brother William Polis. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Dattner (Roland) and Cathy Piccolo (Robert); his nieces, Angela Piccolo and Jessica Piccolo; his great-nephews, Daniel Piccolo and Leon Piccolo; and his cousins, George Polis, Henry Polis and James Schmidt.
