He was predeceased by : his parents, James B ODwyer and Mary ODwyer; and his sister Mary Theresa. He is survived by : his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Alice; his siblings, Eileen, Michael and Joanmarie; his brother-in-law Ralph; his niece Amelia; and his nephew Conor.

A reception was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Massapequa Funeral Home South Chapel (4980 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
