He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cardinale and Margaret Cardinale (Calandro); his wife Elaine Short; his daughter Diane Cardinale; and his brothers, John (Joan) and Joseph Cardinale.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Carter, Sheila Dauria (Ben), Stephanie Lukacs (Ron) and Gerald Cardinale (Janine); his grandchildren, Danelle, Russell, Kristen, Nicole, Daniel, Dean and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas and Jade.
