Gasper Barcia Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gasper Barcia of Hawthorne, New York, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Gasper Barcia to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Barcia and Philomena Barcia; his wife Esther; and his siblings, Rachel Russo and Vincent Barcia.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Barcia, Marie Barcia, Johanna Carminucci (John) and Phyllis Garito (James); and his close friend Lili Miglione. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (170 Bradhurst Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). An entombment was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM.
