She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Whaley and Bartholomew Corroon; her husband John Baxter; and her siblings, Josephine "Josie" McKeogh, Kathleen Broder, Ann Theresa "Nancy" Mockler, Elizabeth "Lily" Daly, Pauline Reddin, Bartholomew "Barney" Corroon, Thomas Corroon and Bernadette Corroon.
She is survived by: her daughter Geraldine De Lanoy (Michael); her granddaughters, Patricia De Lanoy and Coleen Dumas (Robert); her siblings, Christopher Corroon (Doreen) and Margaret "Peggy" Egerton; and her sister-in-law Noreen Corrroon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salem Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Council Resident Fund, in memory of Ellen.
