It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Long of Hawthorne, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert E. Long; her parents, Canio Civita and Mary Civita; and her siblings, Vito Civita (Florence), Grace Meehan (Frank), Mike Civita (Peggy), Esther Riley (Tom), Dora Tucci (Peter), Anita Mareno (Vincent) and Thomas Civita (Lynn).
She is survived by: her daughters, Eileen Davis (Bob) and Marlene Peterson (Frank); her grandchildren, Kristen Connolly (John), Stephan Davis (Marie), Frank Peterson III (April), Heather Mauck (Rob) and Lynsey Suarez (Chris); her great grandchildren, Kevin, Dana Connolly, Jack, Madelyn, Kate Davis, Bryce, Brooks Peterson, Oliver Mauck, Brandon and Ryan Suarez; her siblings, George Civita (Julianne), Honore LaRosa (Neil) and Ann Frank; and her caregiver Barbara.
