Barbara Miller Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 77, Barbara Miller (Hawthorne, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Vasso and Dorothy Vasso (Plastino). She is survived by: her husband Bill (Bill); her daughters, Jessica Miller (Bill) and Lauren Batiste (Bill); her granddaughters, Grace and Cecelia Batiste; her sister Dorothy Day (Peter); and her sister-in-law Geralyn Quinones (Charles). She is also survived by niece, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Hawthorne Funeral Home (21 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A Mass was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (170 Bradhurst Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
