He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Carmody and Thomas Carmody; his sister Margaret Gurnee; and his brothers-in-law, Andrew Simko and Harold Gurnee.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Marshall of Haverstraw; and his nieces and nephews, Keriann Marshall (Robert O'Connor, Jr.) of Haverstraw, Shannon DeRogatis (Robert) of Largo, FL, Ken Gurnee (Paula) and Paul Gurnee (Kim) of Largo, FL. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews as well as many cousins.
