He is survived by: his children, MaryEllen, Michael (Sharon), Brian (Sue) and Robert (Staci); his grandchildren, Brianne, Brian, Alyssa, Amanda, Caitlin, Michael and Robert; and his brother Arthur P. of Raleigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
