He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Brophy and Katie Brophy; his wife Roseanne; his son Kevin; and his siblings, John, Theresa, Frances, Emily, Adelaide and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Roseanne (Perini); his children, Maryanne Slain of Wallingford, CT, Martin (Annemarie) of Stony Point, Michael of Haverstraw, Matthew of Lincoln, NE and James of Garnerville; his grandchildren, Brittney, Sean, Elizabeth, Kevin, Michael, Danny, Paul and Scott; and his brother-in-law John Perini (Rosemary) of Middletown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Martin's memory to St. Peters Church, 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927.
