He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Gordon and Harry Gordon; his wife Lucy; and his children, Mary Ellen (Scott Tetreault) of Brooklyn, Barbara (Andrew Connors) of Stony Point, NY, Peter (Debra) of Morristown, NJ, Margaret (John Mackey) of Middletown, NY and John (Lisa) of Haverstraw, NY.. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and had numerous nieces and nephews.
