He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anni Steger and Kurt Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Schneider; his children, Joseph C. Schneider (Libby), Thomas W. Schneider (Tom Edwards) and Stefan A. Schneider (Bradley Brammer); his sister Emilie Cozar-Saavedra; his grandchildren, Christian Schneider, Summer Schneider, Liam Schneider, Ava Schneider and Aidan Schneider; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexandria Brammer, Abigail Fouts (Justin), Addison Brammer (Amberlynn) and Emma Brammer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Steuben Association Scholarship Fund, PO Box 678, Peck Slip Station, New York, NY 10272 in Josef Schneider's memory.
