“Patricia, I was devastated to hear of Gene's passing. Charlie called me with the news. I extend to You, Helen, Cyril and Kenny my sincere condolences for your loss. Gene was one of a kind, I, along with Charlie and John Carraher, have many, many wonderful memories of the times we spent together at the schools we worked in.
