She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Penteck and Mary Penteck; her husband Daniel Griffin; her children, Jo-Ann (Robert), Daniel (Christine) and Denise (Lawrence); her grandchildren, Michael (Courtney), Christopher, Kerri, Samantha, Hannah, Haleigh, Kathleen and Laura; her great grandchild Ryan; her sisters, Eleanor and Carol; and her sister-in-law Mary. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Edith's name to the American Cancer Society.
