With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Domenico Colavito of Haverstraw, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Domenico departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Domenico. Though Domenico may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Angela; and his daughter Roseanna. He is survived by: his children, Christina and Dominic; and his grandchildren, Joey, Peter, Marlena, Giana, Dominic and Brandon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tj McGowan Sons Funeral Home (71 Central Hwy, Garnerville, NY 10923). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the St. Peter's Cemetery (140 Rte 9W, Haverstraw, NY 10927).
